Our mentoring programme is designed to help promote positive change and outcomes. Our team of gifted mentors often come from a place of understanding to truly reach out to young people as survivors. One of the most successful methods for connecting as a mentor starts with living shared experiences. Many of our mentors have experiences that are similar to our young people and these genuine connections and learned experiences can often affect positive change through consistent sessions and opportunities for personal growth.
Our mentors work with a range of statutory agencies and provide hands-on support to our young people and has proven to be highly effective as in intervention option for complex offenders and ‘at risk’ youth’.
We hope to develop our programme to offer a mentoring support hub for LGBTQ young people in the coming months.
