We strongly believe that every young person should have the same educational opportunities as any other and work closely alongside virtual schools and educational professionals to ensure that individualised personal education plans are in place and that each young person is supported in maintaining an educational placement and to acheive to their full potential in achieving national accreditations i.e. GCSE, functional skills, entry level certification, ASDAN and BTEC.
Where formal educational settings are inappropriate for specific young people, we work alongside virtual schools and placing authorities in sourcing alternative educational programmes that offer other nationally accredited awards such as The Prince’s Trust, Entry to Employment and local apprenticeship opportunities with North Lancs Training Group (NTLG).
We work with young people to structure their days appropriately and formulate individualised incentive plans to help them achieve their goals.
Our team also provide educational recreation and activities in and outside of the home making education and general life skills a fun way of learning and building trust and confidence. We also encourage young people to join local recreational clubs and take part in community and charity events as a way of promoting inclusion and citizenship.
